JACK’s STORY – Surrendered, fostered & adopted all in one weekend!
, a 4-year-old male Golden Retriever x Kelpie was surrendered to Byron Dog Rescue on Friday.
Whisked to the vets for his check-over and vaccination, he behaved impeccably, even though we’d been warned he would certainly bite if he was collar-pulled or pushed against his will.
After enduring much poking, prodding, pulling & pushing, Jack arrived without incident, at his (and our brand new) foster carers…
After a weekend full of spoiling, love, care and joyous off-leash play on the beach, Jack is to be adopted by our love-struck foster carer.
Marilynne, who has been suffering the loss/passing of her old dog recently, is completely grateful for and relishing the arrival of gorgeous, graceful Jack in her life & home.
