ROCKY UPDATE

Need a pick-me-up amidst the current climate of miss/over & under information, doom & gloom, panic & fear? Look no further…

Val, who despondently had to surrender Rocky, is DELIGHTED.

Ellen & Johnathan, who successfully adopted Rocky, are JUBILANT.

We at Byron Dog Rescue, are THRILLED.

And Rocky, the boy at the centre of this HAPPINESS-FEST, is GLEEFUL…

Check out Rocky’s expressions from his new beachside loved-up lifestyle…

Meet happy-go-lucky ‘Rocky’, a 4-year-old desexed male Retriever x Kelpie x Staffy.

Rocky was adopted from CAWI (Byron Dog Rescue) 3 years ago and has been thoroughly enjoying his fun times, but unfortunately & reluctantly, his owner has to re-locate to Sydney and feels Rocky will enjoy a more satisfying life re-homed here on the far north coast.

Rocky is a gentleman, loves other dogs, hangs well with cats and would be suited to older children simply because he has a jumping-up habit that needs further curtailing.

Rocky loves cuddles & affection, off-leash runs on the beach and is very social with other people & dogs. He still suffers some trauma from his life before CAWI – which manifests as fear at the sight or sound of hose/water and the sound of rattling chains.

Happily, Rocky has been matched with a couple who live opposite the beach and want to shower (shhh) him with as much love as he gives. Rocky commences his 3-week-trial-adoption on Friday.
