BRUNO UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED (FOSTER-FAIL 😆)
Residents of Brunswick Heads, MJ and family together with their menagerie of pets including their dog-savvy cat and 3yo Labradoodle, kindly offered to foster a larger breed chilled dog.
On March 1st, we introduced them to 20-month-old Bull Terrier/Arab x Heeler ‘Bruno’, one of a litter of dogs we rescued from Lismore.
Bruno perfectly fitted MJ’s preferred doggie profile and he desperately needed a foster home where he could gain some much needed confidence and benefit from regular exercise and socialisation. Darling Bruno settled into his new home with ease and in no time MJ was utterly besotted.
It took a few more months for Bruno to work his magic on hubby Ben, but he did, and Bruno was officially adopted by the family last week.
Bruno’s relaxed and very affectionate demeanour also worked wonders for their Labradoodle who calmed down significantly and began to be way more demonstrative with his affections.
Big boy Bruno is spoilt rotten and soooo loved. He enjoys his beach frolics and adventures and has “brought so much happiness to the family”.
Proud of you Bruno – you gorgeous clever boy 👌💘
Meet ‘Bruno’ – a big, sweet, soft-natured 15-month-old desexed male Bull Terrier/Arab x Heeler.
Bruno is very chilled and like his brother Ralph, loves affection and lots of cuddles.
Bruno is also very timid, and submissive with outside dogs. He is good with children and has lived harmoniously with a cat.
Bruno will need a kind, patient companion or family who can provide him with slow and gentle introductions to the big wide world.
Once Bruno has gained some confidence, he’s going to need some positive consistent training and lots of reassurance. He will adore his new companion or family and will become a loyal, loving, obedient and serene family member.
