CHARLIE UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
Little 8-year-old Dachshund x Maltese Terrier ‘Charlie’ is absolutely loving life with Gina (and vice versa) in their over 55’s village. Charlie has made friends with several of the other resident small doggies where she regularly meets them at the front door and invites them all in for a play.
Charlie adores all Gina’s love and attention, does her Meerkat impression to beg for her new fave fillet steak treats and is ready and waiting each night to snuggle up next to Gina in bed.
It’s always such a great pleasure and privilege to match-make and witness the happiness enjoyed by both human and doggie 😃💓🐶
CHARLIE ADOPTION
Darling little 8-year-old desexed female Maltese x Dachshund ‘Charlie’ is sadly looking for a new abode.
Her current home has been invaded by a high energy puppy and Charlie isn’t coping. To be perfectly honest, she is exhausted and depressed.
Charlie is wary of strangers, but once you’ve won her over she’s a little sweetie. She gets on with other dogs but would prefer a home where she is the only dog or where there is one other mature-age small-breed dog for mellow company.
She is true to her two breeds; the sweet charming Maltese and the loyal inquisitive Dachshund. Charlie prefers women but will accept a gentle calm man in her life. She is nervy and aloof around children and has been known to warn-nip if she feels threatened by sudden advances or boisterous behaviour.
Charlie will bark at strangers, and when left on her own. Her ideal new home would be with a retired woman or couple who are mostly home and can provide her with a loving, tranquil environment where she will receive the affectionate attention she is so fond of.
