Kissable ‘Kaya’ is a most lovable nearly 7-year-old desexed female Border Collie.
Sadly, her owner has to travel overseas; hence Kaya is looking for a new home.
Kaya is amiable with cats, chickens and children, but can be a tad clumsy. She is good with other dogs, although a little shy on occasions, but would enjoy the company of another gentle, playful dog.
Alas, Kaya was mistreated and neglected in her formative years and suffered extreme anxiety. Her most recent owner has showered her with love and successfully and gently socialised her over several years. She can still be a tad timid, so would suit a kind person who wants a beautiful, gentle companion.
Kaya knows most commands but can get distracted. Fortunately she is very food motivated and she does behave extremely well during her off-leash doggie day-care visits to the beach. She is very loving and affectionate and will brighten your day with her engaging huge smiles.
