JUPITER (now Jupi) UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
When we rescued 11-month-old English Staffy ‘Jupi’ from the pound nearly 1½ years ago, she was on a cocktail of anti-anxiety medications, had received no training, was intermittently dog-reactive and suffered shocking separation anxiety.
She was also due for a heat, which outrageously let loose 🩸 the moment she walked through the front door of foster-carer Suzie & daughters beautiful home 😱 …. doggie nappies to the rescue!!
With help from trainer Josh and Suzie’s sheer determination, patience and perseverance, Jupi was crate-trained, spayed, obedience trained and well exercised/socialised. Her anti-anxiety meds were a thing of the past.
Suzie & daughter were smitten by this time and decided to join our long list of fabulous foster-fails 👍🙏😃
Suzie just wrote: “Jupi is now a settled happy soul. She runs off leash at the beach, attends doggie daycare for socialisation, has learnt to swim and fetch, is super fit and athletic and can outrun any dog except a Greyhound or Whippet. We love her to bits!! Thank you Shell for such a beautiful dog. We will love and take care of her furever” ♥️😀🐶😘
Many thanks to all the offers of help for Jupiter 🙏🌻
Jupiter is super lucky to be entering a phase of getting her needs met, while in experienced loving foster-care.
Jupiter is NOT currently available for adoption.
Once we’ve had the opportunity to assess her temperament and needs, we will then post her adoption profile.
If you would like to register your interest, please text some details about the life Jupiter would enjoy with you (and family) to Shell on 0458461935
URGENT – FOSTER-CARER NEEDED
CALL OUT to STAFFY LOVERS
11-month-old female Jupiter finds herself in the pound. We would love to help her but currently have no available foster-carers.
Jupiter is full of frenetic energy but absolutely loves cuddling with humans.
She gets on well with other dogs and children.
If you could help by offering her a temporary home where she could feel safe and loved, we feel she will settle (with some much needed exercise too).
Please contact Shell on 0458461935.
