BELLA UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED (Foster Fail 😊)
Bellissima ‘Bella’ the 8-year-old Staffy who was sadly surrendered due to the woeful rental market, has been adopted by her fantastica foster-carer Cass 🙏
Four years ago Cass was mourning the passing of her beloved Staffy down on New Brighton Beach. Rescue dog ‘Boots’ spotted Cass crying in the dunes and with remarkable compassion sat behind Cass and laid her decrepit old head on Cass’s shoulder 🥰 Without hesitation, Cass adopted Boots and transformed her into a happy healthy dog who absolutely adores Cass.
Again, remarkably, Boots accepted Bella into Cass’s home and they very quickly became “besties”. ‘Chookie’ the pet chicken (yep, that’s a real live chicken in the pic) also accepted Bella and ‘Wu’ the cat is still making up her mind 😆
Yet again, Cass has transformed Bella from a rather overweight, out of condition dog into an elegant, fit, healthy and very happy version of herself simply by providing love, highly nutritious home-cooked meals and regular beach exercise. Bella has shed 5kgs in just 7 weeks!!
We are incredibly grateful to you Cass for your huge heart and dedication to dogs (and animals) in need. Respect 💖
Woof woof everyone, my name is Bella and I’m an 8-year-old Staffy girl who would love to share my life with someone who has as big a heart as mine.
My adoring poppa who rescued me a few years ago just passed away and now my mom is moving and couldn’t find a home where I’d be welcome 😢
I promise I’m no trouble. I only bark if something is amiss. I come when I’m called. I adore everyone and everything including children, other dogs small and large and I’m gonna miss sleeping with my pussycat friend 😿 I’m also a great traveller and have enjoyed many adventures around Australia. If you leave me on my own, don’t worry, I’ll just a have a wee nap 💤
I could do with some regular light exercise and perhaps a little less food, but otherwise I feel great and have so much love to give. I get so excited and nearly wobble my big bum off when I meet new friends – I’m that kinda gal 🐶
