Stunning, sweet, strong 2-year-old desexed female Dalmatian x Staffy ‘Opal’ is now residing at our shelter where she hopes to meet her new active family or companion soon.
Opal has a shy, sensitive, quiet demeanour, is exceptionally good with other dogs, great with children of all ages and has lived with a cat.
She is very intelligent and highly intuitive. On arrival at our open-air shelter, Opal immediately sussed out who was “top dog”, approached her several times, always lowering herself beneath Misty’s head and licking her mouth in complete deference and submission.
Opal will thrive with leadership and consistent training. She could triumph in advanced obedience or agility activities and she will need a good couple of hours of off-leash exercise per day. Without regular mental and exercise stimulation, Opal can become bored, then destructive (chewing) and an escape artist (why she has been surrendered).
In the right home, Opal will reward you with her loyal, fun-loving and affectionate self.
