💃 PEGGY UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED 💃
Appearing somewhat neglected and browbeaten, 7-year-old Kooli x ‘Peggy’ was found wandering the streets and ended up in the care of Byron Council where she quickly melted the hearts of the rangers with her adoringly sweet demeanour. Sadly?, her owner decided to leave her impounded.
Without hesitation, we rescued Peggy and before she could come into heat decided to have her spayed. Animal lovers Lisa & Neil kindly offered to care for her post-operatively with the intention of welcoming her permanently into their home and hearts.
This was quite the undertaking for Lisa & Neil who are in the midst of building their new home. Nevertheless, Neil quickly erected temporary fencing to keep Peggy safe and Lisa took on the role of nurse and trainer.
Although proffering a number of training challenges for Lisa, Peggy has come such a long way. She now understands that a sumptuous life inside has to be shared politely with the two resident cats, she now comes when called and has learnt to play nicely (rather than fiercely rounding-up) with some of the builders dogs.
Peggy has lucked out beyond our wildest dreams with Lisa & Neil where she has tons of space to romp and explore and will quite frankly live the rest of her life in exquisite luxury and care 🙏💓
