WAFFLE’S UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
18-month-old Golden Labrador ‘Waffles’ was such a wayward boy when he joined us at our shelter 5 months ago. Zero recall and demonistic destructiveness were his main issues.
Waffle’s (now DASH) has settled super smoothly into his new life with Ross and his 21yo son.
Dash remains a talented thief but his heinous habits are now tempered by two big walks a day and regular training sessions with Michelle from Happy Dogs.
He also has a 10yo absolute fan who lives next door and she loves spending time with Dash, continuing the training and going for additional walks.
Twas lovely to see Dash recently, looking really well, happy and content 👏😊👍
WAFFLES ADOPTION
18-month-old desexed male Labrador x Labradoodle ‘Waffles’ is looking for his ideal companion or family.
Waggish Waffles (yes, he can be a rather mischievous rogue) is exuberant but great with children and other dogs.
He is very friendly, sweet natured and affectionate. He loves to run and play so will need plenty of stimulation via living on property or daily outings to the beach or similar.
He walks well on-leash, sits and waits nicely for meals (highly food motivated). His recall has improved immeasurably since living at our shelter and because he’s a smart cookie, will respond well to ongoing training.
Waffles needs plenty of attention. Historically, his needs have not been met hence he became noisy and destructive in the garden and home when left alone. He may need crate-training to help with separation anxiety.
