4-year-old desexed male Border Collie x Kelpie x Cattle Dog ‘Leroy’ is regrettably looking for a new home due to a major change in his families circumstances.
Leroy is a shy but sweet natured boy who gets on well with other dogs, children and he loves cats! He walks well on leash and will serenely run beside a bicycle.
Originally rescued from the Northern Territory where he was very badly treated 😢 – Leroy sadly has a deep and profound fear of men, to this day.
Our Shelter caretaker Jon is spending quality time with poor Leroy and we’re thrilled by really great results. Leroy now trusts Jon enough for a pat – which is quite momentous! 👏
He will need a female companion or a patient loving family who can provide him with adequate exercise and some further recall training.
