FINRIL UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
What an absolute pleasure it was to rescue and rehome 2-year-old German Shepherd ‘Fin’.
What a well-mannered, gentle, character of a boy!
Enormous thanks to Tarja & Veikko who not only fostered Fin, but continued with his training, cared for him while he recovered from his desex and with much grace (and tears) let him go to his forever home with the lovely Annie & Mick (who both adore and have abundant experience with German Shepherds).
We were keen for Fin to have an active lifestyle with plenty of fun interactions with other dogs, due to his very social and easy going nature.
Fin now enjoys endless playmates, training sessions, adventures, swimming and gets totally spoilt by Annie’s gorgeous parents who regard Fin as their grandson. They even hosted ‘adoption day’ where we all came together for fun, food, drinks and the joy of witnessing Fin open all his adoption day presents.
It really is so rewarding and such a privilege to find darling dogs in need, the best and most appropriate new homes 😃🤸💃
2-year-old male Sable German Shepherd “Finril” is a fine and happy boy indeed!!
His previous owner is leaving for overseas and was unable to find Fin a new home.
Now in our care with fabulous foster-carers and dog trainers Tarja & Veikko, who also have decades of experience with German Shepherds, Fin has wooed us all with his amazingly friendly, well mannered and playful disposition. He is also great with other dogs – small and large.
Fin has been well trained and will continue to learn while in foster care. He is scheduled to be desexed on 9th October.
