BLUEY UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
Bluey now ‘Louie’ is one of the six pups rescued from the Border Ranges National Park after they were dumped and abandoned at 6/7-weeks of age π’
Unending thanks to original foster-carers Cheyne & family for their amazing support and physical rehabilitation of all six puppa’s while in their care for two months ππ
Also, huge thanks to foster-carer Leanne who took young Bluey in for a month when the pups needed to be separated π
As you can see from the pics, Louie has come a long way from the emaciated, mange-ridden, terrified little dude he was when first rescued.
ππ€Έ Now for the next exciting and beautiful stage in his journey as he travels back to Melbourne with his most loving and adorable new adoptive dad’s Michael & Francisco.
Louie was in heaven and had so much fun with the guys at The SpitΒ beach in Ballina this morning. I haven’t been able to wipe the huge grin off my face since witnessing his sheer joy and loss of inhibitions while out and about with his new dad’s…. yahoo!!Β π₯°
4-month-old male Kelpie/Heeler/Staffy βBlueyβ is one of the three remaining pups rescued after being dumped and abandoned in the Border Ranges National Park, who still needs a loving home.
The three remaining pups have now been separated due to some littermate syndrome issues including separation anxiety, poor social skills and fearfulness.
Bluey is progressing better than expected and is developing great social behaviours with humans, dogs and cats. He is now crate-trained (will sleep all night without a fuss, no mess and no destruction of bedding) and he feels ok about being left on his own for short periods. He is also gaining confidence with regular outings to his local dog beach.
Bluey is a very soft natured, shy boy who happily settles after a good walk or outing to the beach. He is also excellent with children of all ages.
