Howdy folks, my name is ‘Keo’ and I’m a 9-year-old desexed male Chocolate Labrador in good health with plenty more play and life in me yet.

My dad has made the extremely heart-breaking decision to surrender me for rehoming due to changes in his circumstances and I get super sad and barkie when I’m left all on my own.

I used to have two best buddies and we all lived and played together and I was soooo happy. Disastrously, a few months ago Bongo passed away because he was ancient (even more ancient than me) and Archie, my young Kelpie mate, died from a snake bite. Since then I have been sooooo sad 😢

So sad in fact, that I haven’t been able to muster the inspiration to move and I’ve despondently stacked on the weight. Shell says I need to get moving and lose at least 10kgs, which I’m happy to do so long as I find myself another mate and/or a loving present hooman.

I’m staying at a Pet Resort for the time being and I’m loving it. I bounce around with the other dogs and simply adore having their company. I’ve even managed to woo a younger female Lab and she thinks I’m super handsome and cuddly.
