UPDATE: 11/9/17 Coco has now been adopted!

Coco is a 2year old Greyhound with a sweet, gentle and friendly nature. After being found at a service centre with no owner in sight for over two days, he was rescued and given a second chance at a new life in the Byron shire! He was very skinny, even for a greyhound, but has been steadily putting on weight during his time is in foster care. As he gains weight and energy, his true personality is starting to shine, showing his love for people, dogs, the beach and life in general. He enjoys a quick run around but mostly likes just hanging out with his human. He can be a little shy in new situations but quickly warms up and will happily approach friendly new people and dogs. At home he loves cuddling up on the couch with his foster carer and being tucked into his nice warm bed every night. Please note he has not yet been fully tested with cats, livestock or wildlife. He has met one cat and showed no interest in chasing and catching her, in fact he seemed more interested in having a sniff and a play! However the cat was not running and was in fact moving very slowly so unfortunately we cannot guarantee he will not chase them and is probably best placed in a home without cats at this stage.
