MUFFINS UPDATE
Remember little 16-year-old ragamuffin ‘Muffins’ – surrendered to BDR on New Year’s Day, then treated for a chronic yeast infection of her ears, shampooed, trimmed, pampered & spoilt rotten?
Well, Muffins (now Suki) settled exceptionally well with foster-carer Sarah, who had sadly and recently lost her very similar-looking 16-year-old Shih-Tzu x Poodle ‘Sumi’ to old-age.
Yet another foster-fail 😆😘, Sarah has now adopted Suki and finds her grumpy, forthright little personality irresistible.
Although Suki will contentedly sleep for much of the day, once Sarah attaches her leash, she is off and away… quite literally leading the way… while thoroughly enjoying her two daily walks around downtown Brunswick Heads.
Thanks Sarah, for providing somewhat geriatric Suki with such a stable gentle caring environment for her to enjoy a lovely new lease on life 💛🐶💛
16-year-old female Poodle x ShihTzu Muffin’s was rescued on New Years Day and placed into tender loving BDR foster-care.
Although a bit of a bedraggled ragamuffin, Muffin’s is still quite agile for her age and has enjoyed discovering every little nook & cranny at her foster carers home. She’s adapting quickly, is certainly perkier today and enjoyed a big walk this morning.
She’s off to the Happy Hounds Parlour on Monday for a good bath, trim, ear clean, feet trim & nail clip.
