MAX UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED

🎤  What a diff’rence a DOG makes          My yesterday was blue, dear                        My lonely nights are through, dear              Since you said you were mine  🎶

Little darling Wire Haired Jack Russell ‘Max’ is one of the dogs we rescued from the pound recently.

On arrival at his dual-foster-carers home, Sarah stated emphatically “Val & Annette are going to have to take on the care of this one – I’m still exhausted from ‘Crosbie!!”

“Uhhuh” I said dubiously, as I lathered up sweet little boy Max, who was rather grubby after spending two weeks in the pound…

…a mere two days later… Sarah “What an excellent little chap Max is. Can I adopt him?”

And so it was that these two beings found love and sweet companionship with one another 💞

Check out the huge difference in mood from pic on Day 1 to pic on Day 40!!

UPDATE: Many thanks for all the enquiries about little Max. Please be patient as Shell, our Rescue & Adoptions person, gets back to everyone who has applied.

Little, scruffy 4-year-old desexed male Wire-Haired Jack Russell x ‘Max’ is one of three dogs we rescued from the pound this week.

The poor little chap has been abandoned but is now enjoying tons of attention and support in foster-care.

Max is a sweetie; he’s inquisitive, enthusiastic, very friendly and energetic. He’s house-trained and gets on beautifully with other dogs. He knows a few commands but definitely suffers from selective hearing  🙉 😆

He’s at least a kilo underweight but his carers will have him in tip top shape in no time. Apart from some tartar build-up on his teeth he received a clean bill of health from the vets. He is now fully vaccinated and flea /tick /heartworm /intestinal worm treated.

Due to his lively disposition, we feel Max is best suited to an active young family or as a companion to someone who would like to give him further training and a stimulating lifestyle.
