JACK UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
Little character ‘Jack’ the 6-year-old Jack Russell x Shih Tzu was running out of options due to his hyper-fear-aggression towards other dogs.
Hooray!! for Paul & Steve who offered to give Jack a try.
They soon discovered what an absolute sweetie Jack is with humans and made the decision to adopt him, keep him safe and possibly even try some specialised rehabilitation down the track.
Jack loves his new mates, has settled in beautifully and with great respect, quietly sleeps at the end of the bed.

FOSTER or ADOPTION
Little character-packed 5-year-10-month-old desexed male Jack Russell x Shih Tzu ‘Jack’ is needing a temporary foster home or a forever home.
Poor little Jack’s early life must have been dreadfully traumatic and although his current adoring owner has tried to rehabilitate him, Jack continues to suffer from hyper-vigilance, anxiety and massive dog fear-aggression. Even leashed walks are fraught because of his dog reactivity.
For this reason he is medicated and can thoroughly enjoy a gentle, quiet home life as an only dog.
Jack is adorable with children and people. He is full of life and character. He’s cheeky, playful, loving and affectionate. He had me in fits of delighted laughter throughout our assessment session. He is incredibly easy to love 💘
Jack is a hunter. He will do best with a gentle family or person who has a very secure and quiet yard where Jack can play and happily amuse himself.
