Beautiful, characterful 5-year-old desexed male Tan & White Australian Shepherd ‘Ozzy’ is in need of a new home.
Ozzy suffered unimaginable trauma as a puppy which manifests as intense fear of humans. His current people (who rescued him over 4 years ago) have managed his fear and anxiety by mostly keeping him sheltered at home with their other dogs. There, he enjoys the comfort of inside life and running and playing ball in his large fully fenced yard.
A relationship with Ozzy will take time, patience and tenderness, at the end of which you will be rewarded with his deep love, loyalty, affection and cuddliness.
Ozzy knows basic commands, is good with other dogs but can become startled and scared by large boisterous dogs. He has an elongated palette which causes his breathing to become rattle’ly when panting. This slight abnormality is stable and ostensibly won’t worsen.
In the right gentle hands, Ozzy may be somewhat rehabitable. You will need plenty of dog experience, a fully fenced decent sized yard and the time and wherewithal to put into Ozzy.
