JET UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
9½yo ‘Jet’ the jaunty little Chihuahua, who would have left me and the kind vet who trimmed his nails, slain on the surgery floor if he was the size of a Mastiff 🤣, has settled in beautifully with his new adoring mum Josie.
Josie’s very old Chihuahua x JR passed away recently, leaving her bereft and desperate for another little companion.
Jet only has eyes for Josie and she in turn calls him her “little man”. They go everywhere together and even Josie was stunned (by his agility) and delighted when Jet chose to leap up onto her bed and sleep peacefully snuggled up next to her.
A shocking little yapper, Jet is also astoundingly (considering his age and habitual behaviours) responding well to Josie’s persistent requests for silence. Josie is really happy with his progress and her love for the little terror 🥰 is absolutely heart warming.
Jaunty little ‘Jet’ is a 9½-year-old desexed male Chihuahua.
Jet’s favourite person in the world is very unwell and sadly Jet needs to find a new home. He is typical of his breed; feisty, loyal, affectionate, big personality, attention-seeker, demanding of respect and a bit of a barker at unknown visitors or passers-by.
Jet is quite jittery and nervous around strangers, but once you’ve won him over, he will adore you. Due to his nervy, wary temperament we wouldn’t recommend him with children.
He is good in the car, loves outings and walks well on the lead. He is ok with chickens but will try to dominate other dogs. He is in excellent health and could be your devoted little companion for many years to come.
