Introducing GEM who is a loving, friendly, goofy, playful and respectful dog. He loves kids, swimming and outings. He has been rescued and has lived with us for two months. He has separation/anxiety at times when we need to leave him at home, he wants to be with people all the time. Gem barks constantly when we are out, but is starting to relax a bit. He listens well and comes when being called. He pulls a bit on the lead, but walks OK. We have noticed that he can get nervous if there is too much going on. Gem has been well loved by our family, but he doesn’t like cats and actually chases them and attacks. This can be quick and frightening. We were told he was involved in fights before he was rescued. This is the reason we can’t keep him. Also possible he may attack chickens if he could get into the pen. Gem currently lives with children (8 year old being the youngest) and he is great with kids. Loves and thrives on attention and love.
