Maggie and Lucy have been liberated from a situation that has not been ideal for both the dogs or the owner for some years. Irrespective of their lack of socialisation and appropriate exercise for those many years, both Maggie and Lucy are in excellent health and are adjusting well to their new environment in Byron Dog Rescues care.
They are socialising soundly with other dogs and both get on well with cats. They are eager to please their new foster-carer Sarah but would do well with some formal training.
Maggie is a stunning black & tan 4-year-old Australian Kelpie, full of joie-de-vivre who has a beguiling singing voice.
Lucy is a calm loveable black & white 7-year-old Border Collie who has a congenital front foot disorder that has malformed some of her toes. She nevertheless enjoys a good walk and will do well with regular nail clipping.
