ALBY UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
Tirscha & Warren and their two teenage boys have been hankering for a family dog for a long time.
After meeting with the family and their rescue cat Freddie, I got a good feel for how much time, love and dedication this family could provide a dog. Noticeably, whoever we matched them with would need to have a temperament to harmonize with apartment living, a fairly tranquil atmosphere and the dog and cat would also need to cohabitate peacefully.
I didn’t feel any of the dogs the family showed interest in, satisfied these needs. Eventually, I suggested a meet-up with goof-ball, chill-pill, gentle-giant Bull Arab pup, ‘Alby’.
The spot-on chemistry was immediate, and Alby never left.
Alby has now become quite the celeb down at his local beach, he is adored by the entire family, he’s very happy to supervise Warren or Tirscha when they’re working from home, he’s even won the hearts of neighbours and although Alby and Freddie the cat are still “doing a tango, they’ve worked out they can live together”.

18-week-old male Bull Arab x puppy ‘Alby’ is ready for adoption.
Little Alby and his sister were inexplicably abandoned and ended up in the pound.
BDR has since had Alby vet-checked, vaccinated and treated for an infection of mange-mites. Alby has a good strong immune system and did not succumb to mange. He’s still a tad itchy but the mites are gone.
Now in fabulous foster-care, Alby is currently all legs and clumsy, but cute as can be. He is a sweet, well-mannered, chilled, smart little pup who adores hanging with his humans.
Alby is going to mature into a very BIG boy. He would love and suit a family who can give him lots of attention, dog socialisation and training. Alternatively, he’d make an excellent constant companion for a tradie or similar.
