SASHA UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
10½-year-old, gorgeous girl Sasha has been let down time and time again. Enquiries reveal Sasha has had at least 5 owners in her life and 2 foster-carers.
While Sasha waited for us to find her perfect forever home, she utterly enjoyed being spoilt rotten by her latest foster-carer Jan, in South Golden Beach.
I knew that bright, sprightly octogenarian Ruth was looking for an older dog for companionship, after her last beloved Kelpie passed away from old age.
Well… talk about a match made in heaven!
Ruth & Sasha adore each other. Sasha has settled into her new life with complete ease. She loves her twice daily walks with Ruth and the ladies walking-group and their dogs, completely ignores the other resident Budgies, loves her special home-prepared steamed veggies with raw meat, and interestingly chose the same sleeping spot as Ruth’s last doggo.
It’s been an absolute pleasure and so rewarding to witness these two together. Well done Sasha! We love you!! 💖
10-½-year-old desexed female Vizsla x Ridgeback ‘Sasha’ is back in our tender loving care through no fault of her own.
She is in fantastic shape, both physically and mentally, considering she was let down by her human 6-months ago, ended up in a shelter situation, was rehomed by the shelter and recently bounced back to the shelter.
We carried out Sasha’s transfer from Queensland back to us on Tuesday, and she is now being thoroughly pampered by her foster-carer in South Golden Beach.
Sasha is a gorgeous, elegant older girl who is small for her breed. She is loving and gentle and gets on with children and other dogs. She is fit and healthy and still loves her walks on the beach.
She particularly enjoys a one-on-one relationship with her human and won’t tolerate another dog residing in her home.
