BEAU UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED

Many thanks to foster-carers Margo & Pete for caring-for and keeping little abandoned Jack Russell ‘Beau’ safe, before and after his desex operation, which was quite the accomplishment considering Beau’s Houdini-level skills in escaping and determinedly seeking out new doggie friends and adventures.

It became clear that Beau needed a home with escape-proof fencing and preferably another dog to keep him engaged and gratified.

Jacki and family have been long-term lovers of Jack Russell’s and know their temperament, traits and needs well. They had adopted gorgeous Shar Pei x Ridgeback ‘Nala’ from BDR over a year ago and were super excited to meet and welcome Beau into the fold.

Although a tad put out at first, Nala has accepted Beau (he unreservedly adores her 💘) and continues with Jacki’s help to reconcile some of little Beau’s issues, namely, absolute over-excitement with his wonderful new life.

That life includes playing with two lovely boys, running free at the beach alongside his heart’s obsession and being super-loved and cuddled by the entire family.

Enjoy Beau!! You are one very lucky little rascal  😄💛

DETAILS
4-5-year-old male Jack Russell ‘Beau’ was abandoned over two weeks ago, so BDR has been caring for the little chap while he completed his obligatory time with council waiting for someone to claim him.

Beau is now available for adoption. He has been vaccinated, worm etc treated, vet checked and yesterday, recovered well from his desexing surgery.
He is such a little sweetheart. His soft gentle eyes silently beg for love and recognition.
Beau is fabulous with children, other dogs and is even careful & mindful around his foster-carers domineering cat. His recall is reasonable and he adores a good off-leash run at the beach.
He is an escape-artist and wanderer, so will need a secure yard and preferably another dog to hang out with.
