MIO UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
Little cheeky scamp Mio (Hermione) is a female 6-month-old Jack Russell cross.
Her breeding is a real mystery; perhaps there’s some Chihuahua/Westie/Silky in there, but without a DNA test, we’re scratching our heads.
Mio is tiny, but don’t let that fool you. She has a massive personality and is not a dog for the faint-hearted!
She has energy to burn, loves walks on or off leash, plays well with other dogs but can be a little terror. She will dominate dogs larger than herself and can be quite hostile when guarding her resources.
Once again, these pups were removed from their mum and siblings way too young, hence Mio still has to learn about snapping, nipping, biting.
Mio would suit someone who can spend time training her, providing boundaries and lots of mental stimulation – she will become an excellent little companion. She will not suit a family with children, and preferably no other dogs (unless you have an abundance of dog experience and can deal with serious resource guarding – with both dogs and humans).
