FRANKEE UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED

Little cutie 7-month-old Dachshund x Amstaff ‘Frankee’ (now Frankie) has been successfully adopted by Roz and family.

Frankie joins the farm’s menagerie of two other dogs, one being little Jack Russell x ‘Ruby’ who was adopted from CAWI nearly four years ago, and several rescued cats and kittens.

Although remaining quite small (considering her very odd breeding), Frankie is super strong and exhibited very few doggie manners on arrival, ploughing through the home like a little bulldozer 😆

She has since calmed considerably and Ruby has accepted Frankie as her new bestie playmate 🐶🐶

Frankie is adored by Roz’s entire family who describe her as “a super sooky cuddly loving sweet thing!!”

6-month-old puppy ‘Frankee’ is a female 😆 😍 DACHSHUND x AMSTAFF!!! 😍😆

She is currently in temporary foster-care until we can find her the best possible home or foster family.

Frankee is a little darling. She is super affectionate, good with cats and absolutely adores the company of other dogs. She is well on the way to be house-trained.

She is strong for her tiny size and hasn’t learnt boundaries or manners when playing with other dogs; hence she doesn’t take cues when enough play, is enough (she has to be removed and placed in her time-out pen). Therefore, she would only suit a situation with another young, playful and patient dog.

Frankee is a little wildling, but she is very smart and will respond well and quickly to training. We suspect she was removed from her mother and siblings too young and hasn’t had the benefit of learning about bite inhibition etc. With some guidance-consistency, and love, Frankee will undoubtedly make an excellent, loving family dog. (She is so happy with her temporary carers; she keeps plastering them all with kisses).

If you have dog experience and feel you could offer Frankee an appropriate foster-home, please contact Shell on 0458461935.
