Sweet scruffy little desexed boy ‘Sparkey’ is a 2-year-5-month-old Australian Terrier cross (possibly Schnauzer or Cattle Dog?).

Sparkey didn’t have the best start in life and does display some trauma/fear responses to humans. For this reason we would only recommend him joining a family with children over the age of 10 (due to his occasional unpredictable fear-snaps).

He is well on the way to being house-trained and has recently learnt to sit, but has received no other training. He is an active little chap who, although initially overwhelmed, enjoyed and behaved like a champ during a big beach walk with the Furry Dogmother (and assistant’s) pack of 8 dogs.

Sparkey will blossom in the right home, where he will need further training, regular exercise/stimulation and lots of love and patience – he currently finds it challenging to trust and connect due to previous mistreatment.

He would LOVE a canine chum – his utter joy playing with Angeji the Basenji was a delight to witness.
