ZIGGY ADOPTION UPDATE

Hey folks!! Remember me? – Ziggy the 13-month-old American Staffy boy-dog who emanates love & peace on earth!?

I was one manic chap when I arrived into BDR’s fabulous foster-care in downtown Brunswick Heads.

I didn’t have a clue. I barked non-stop and my previous unruly behaviour had had me run over & then surrendered.

Thanks to my gorgeous treating vets & vet nurses at Racecourse Rd Vets Ballina, together with BDR, I was successfully treated and rehabilitated over a 3-month period.

Then I met big gentle Ed. Ed has successfully adopted me and is continuing with my much-needed training. We go to the beach twice a day and have soooo much fun! I love Ed and Ed loves me.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO TWIGGED TO THE ZIG & SAW WHAT A GORGEOUS BOY I AM & HELPED ME ON THE PATH TO LIVING A HEALTHY, WELL-MANNERED & WHOLESOME LIFE WITH MY NEW BEST BUD 😘😎😍

Yeah gidday folks… check me out!!  I am Ziggy the boy-dog who emanates love & peace on earth.

I am one handsome, strapping brute who runs in fear from terrifying Chico the Chihuahua and other petrifying pipsqueak canine visitors.

Although I’m built like a bulldozer, I’m the sweetest, most loyal, affectionate and gentle friend you could ask for. I love physical contact & company, and my foster carer says I’m one of the “loveliest dispositioned dogs he’s ever cared for”.

My last people didn’t know how to handle, exercise or discipline me, hence my unruly energy got me run over. I was then given-up, but the lovely vets & vet nurses from Racecourse Rd Vets in Ballina, together with Byron Dog Rescue, have been treating my fractured foot and rehabilitating me for nearly 2 months.

I’m now walking on all fours and am feeling ready & keen to meet my new best buddy(s). I am energetic, but respond well to firm discipline and will need someone with a fair degree of strength. I love getting out & about and socialise well with other dogs.
