SASHA (now LUNA) UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
8-month-old Blue Heeler x German Pointer Sasha (now Luna) met Maddie & Ben at Brunswick Heads beach, where Luna was enjoying some spirited play with a very robust and rough young Mastiff pup.
Maddie & Bens’ instinctual, protective guardianship of Luna was instantaneous and a cuteness overload to witness… and so the love affair began.
Luna has “made herself right at home” on their rustic property right on the river in Ballina Shire, where she is enjoying lots of cuddles, romping, K9 training and socialisation.

Sweet girl Sasha is a 7-month-old female Blue Heeler Cattle Dog x German Wire Haired Pointer.
Safe and sound in foster-care she is experiencing a crash course in cat socialisation and “settle petal” boundary training.
Sasha is indeed an absolute sweetie who socialises well with other dogs, is charmingly affectionate and wants to be close.
She will need quite a bit of training, ongoing dog socialisation and plenty of exercise to burn her puppy energy.
🌷 Sasha has a hooded vulva which generally corrects itself after a first heat cycle. For this reason, Sasha will not be spayed until she has completed her first heat. Our adoption fee will include her delayed spay.
