Oreo has found a new home with a lovely couple on a farm in Lismore. They have excellent experience with rehabilitating fearful & aggressive dogs. All the best to you little Oreo 🥰

OREO ADOPTION or FOSTER – CALL OUT TO STAFFY LOVERS

Meet ‘Oreo’ a handsome 1-year-9-month-old desexed male English Staffordshire Terrier.

Oreo desperately needs a new home or foster-carer, where he will benefit greatly from spending time with Staffy-savvy folk.

A kindly young couple rescued Oreo from a dire situation in Sydney where he had already been viciously mauled by a larger dog. The couple moved to the Byron Shire and have cared for Oreo beautifully – he is in excellent health.

Unfortunately, they have no dog experience and have struggled with Oreo’s needs. He has received virtually no dog socialisation and together with his inherent Staffy nature and some fear aggression, Oreo now needs to be an only pet.

Naturally, he is gorgeous with humans. He is very strong-willed and smart. After an hour’s lead-work & assessment with Lissie the Furry Dogmother, Oreo’s reactive behaviour with dogs on the beach had settled substantially and his energy was much calmer.

Nevertheless, Oreo will likely never be an off-leash dog. He would make a loving family member or a loyal companion to someone with a secure yard for him to zoom around in.

If you can help Oreo, please contact Shell on 0458461935.
