GENIE & HARRY UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED
Gorgeous, sweet little one’s Genie (5yr Australian Terrier x) & Harry (10yr Toy Poodle) became victims of the regions rental market, and all their devastated previous owners wanted for them was a new home where they could stay together in a stable and loving situation.
Jill & Murray were grieving the loss of their little old dog so when I sent them Genie & Harry’s pic, they became immediately smitten.
Genie & Harry, their foster-carer Brigit and her dog Ziggy, plus Angeji the Basenji and I, all loaded into the BDR wagon and drove to Iluka to make the introductions.
After a good sniff and thorough investigation of their possible new, safe yard, the little ones were super quick to settle on the laps of Jill & Murray, who were utterly delighted.
Eureka! The stable, loving home where Genie & Harry would be wholeheartedly welcome on the laps, the couches and the beds, had been found.
They also live next to a beautiful walking track right on the Iluka waterfront – heaven for these two sweeties… and Jill and Murray are pretty darn happy too!

🐶🐶 GENIE & HARRY ADOPTION 🐶🐶
This absolutely delightful little duo are currently in our loving care; yet again victims of the abysmal rental market in our region.
‘Genie’, a 5-year-old desexed female Australian Terrier x and ‘Harry’, a 9-year-old desexed male Toy Poodle have been well loved and cared for. They are both house-trained, responsive to commands and are well socialised with other dogs and pocket pets.
Harry has suffered with anxiety, especially when first meeting other dogs, but settles down quickly. Genie is super friendly and loves a good tummy rub. They adore each other and do everything together. Genie has really helped Harry settle down and feel safe, as she is so relaxed and patient. They both love humans and adore lots of cuddles.
THESE TWO ARE A PAIR, AND WILL NEED TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.
