TINY (now JIMMY) UPDATE – SUCCESSFULLY ADOPTED

Little Dachshund unknown cross puppy ‘Tiny’ now ‘Jimmy’ had been gifted to a woman with a 17-year-old Chihuahua x. This match-up was all wrong and the poor old Chihuahua soon became completely traumatised by little 10-week-old Tiny’s constant desire to play.

A month later, with both dogs traumatised, Tiny wasn’t learning; peeing and pooping in the house, barking and generally not getting his needs met. The woman realised she needed to put her old dog first and sensibly decided that Tiny needed to find a more suitable home environment.

We picked up gorgeous boy Tiny from SE QLD and placed him into loving foster-care with Catherine, hubby and their 12-month-old Pom ‘Frankie’.

Little ‘Jimmy’ and ‘Frankie’ hit it off from the get-go and now happy as, Jimmy began to learn at an extraordinary rate. By Day 2 in foster-care he had already mastered house-training, walking on-leash, sit and come. He was sleeping soundly and loving his meals.

Both Jimmy and Frankie were having the time of their lives and Jimmy had become completely enamoured of Catherine.

After a few meet-ups with prospective adopters, everyone was surprisingly in agreement that Jimmy was in actual fact already in his perfect home. Catherine and hubby had also come to this realisation and decided to formally request to adopt Jimmy.

Well done Jimmy – you certainly worked your magic and secured yourself a doggy-heaven home! Love it!  😊🐶😊

Due to an overwhelming response to Tiny’s profile, applications for his adoption are now closed. Thank you.

Introducing ‘Tiny’,  a 14-week-old male Dachshund x (possibly Basset Hound).
Cute, sweet, cheeky little ‘Tiny’ was simply too stubborn, mischievous and playful for his previous situation with an elderly dog.
Tiny is now looking for his new forever home where he will need plenty of playtime with other young dogs (and children, for the sake of early socialisation).
Due to this breeds stubbornness and innate hunting desire, obedience training will require consistency and patience. Tiny will form a strong bond with his family and will enjoy daily walks & exercise.
Tiny is currently having an absolute ball in foster-care with another young playful Pom (pictured).
